Matt Harvey’s shift to the bullpen could be a return to school.
As the former Mets ace prepares for his first day on the job as a reliever — he will be available from the bullpen Tuesday at Busch Stadium against the Cardinals, according to manager Mickey Callaway — the challenge could be learning how to pitch, not just throw, as he adapts to life with a mortal fastball and slider.
“His stuff has changed, it’s not what it was and I still 100 percent believe he doesn’t know how to pitch,” former Mets pitcher Bob Ojeda told The Post on Monday.
