Everybody seems obsessed with the Mets acquiring help for the bullpen. But I say the pen is shaping up to be pretty good without significant reinforcements.
The Mets are set with Jeurys Familia as the closer. They tendered Addison Reed a contract which will likely pay him in the neighborhood of $5 million, so the Mets must view him as the eighth inning guy. By the way, this is the big expenditure for the bullpen.
