Devin Booker is getting paid.
The 28-year-old point guard signed a new two-year, $145 million maximum contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, sources told ESPN on Wednesday. This gives him the largest annual extension salary ($72.5 million) in NBA history, surpassing Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who signed a four-year, $285 million per year average ($71.25) deal last week.
Booker's extension comes after he became the Suns' all-time franchise leader in points scored in the 2024-25 season. He's spent all 10 NBA seasons with the franchise since being selected in the 2015 NBA draft with the extension solidifying his loyalty to Phoenix.
