It's a popular opinion among New York Mets fans that the lineup could use an upgrade. While guys in the "Fab Four" have lived up to expectations at certain points, the bottom of the lineup has left a lot to be desired. Sure, guys like Luis Torrens and Brett Baty have looked good at specific points, but if the Mets want to go on a deep run in October, they need to find more consistency from five through nine.
Especially when it comes to hitting with runners in scoring position. Since the beginning of the season, that has been one of the most significant problems with this lineup.
