NEW YORK -- Jacob deGrom is good to go for his start Monday night when the Mets face the Reds in Cincinnati.
The 29-year-old right-hander tested his pitching elbow before Saturday night's game against the Rockies at Citi Field, and it passed.
"He threw a bullpen today, and it felt great," manager Mickey Callaway said. "No issues whatsoever."
deGrom has been the Mets' most consistent starter, standing at 3-0 with a 1.87 ERA through seven outings. He experienced pain while taking a third-inning swing against the Braves on Wednesday night, then came out after throwing one more inning and experiencing biceps discomfort.
