David Wright believes Noah Syndergaard is like video-game character.
"Think of it this way," Wright explained,"When you used to play video games as a kid, if you build a player and put all the abilities up to max 10, he's that guy you build in the video games."
In his start Monday against the Phillies, Syndergaard gave up five hits, one earned run, he struck out eight and walked two batters in seven innings. In three starts this season, he's allowed two earned runs and struck out 29 batters in 20 innings.
"I thought tonight his velocity was so good," Terry Collins said Monday's win.
