Colon improves to 4-0, Mets top Braves for 11th straight win

METS 6, BRAVES 3

Things are going so well for the Mets these days, Bartolo Colon even ran down a baserunner. The hefty Colon was not only quick on his feet Thursday, but he also held the Braves off as the Mets scored a 6-3 win to complete a franchise record unbeaten-10 game homestand.

The Mets (13-3) have won 11 straight and matched the 1986 World Championship team for the best start in franchise history through 16 games. Heading into the much hyped Subway Series in the Bronx this weekend, the Mets have the longest current winning streak and the best record in baseball.
