Citi Field vendor chokes and dies at Mets game

A vendor at Citi Field choked — and later died — at the Queens stadium, police sources said Wednesday.

The 30-year-old man began choking while eating around 10 p.m. Tuesday. First responders performed CPR on the unidentified victim and transported him to NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, law enforcement sources told the Post.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Mets lost to the Phillies 7-3. The game ended around 10 p.m.
