ATLANTA -- Yoenis Cespedes was greeted with hugs when he arrived in the Mets' clubhouse prior to the team's doubleheader against the Braves. Nine innings later, he was greeted with high fives in the dugout after slugging a grand slam.
Cespedes' seventh homer of the season capped a successful return to the lineup, as he finished 2-for-5 with four RBIs out of the No. 3 spot in the batting order, raising his batting average to .279, in the Mets' 6-1 win in Game 1 against the Braves on Saturday afternoon. His first hit was a line-drive single in the eighth inning.
