Mets INF Asdrubal Cabrera is upset with Team Venezuela GM Carlos Guillen, who he says decided to leave him off the World Baseball Classic roster.
Cabrera noted that Venezuela's manager Omar Vizquel told him he was on the team but was overruled by Guillen.
Among the words Cabrera used to describe Guillen were "unreliable," "untrue," and "shameless," according to James Wagner of the NY Times.
Cabrera, who played winter ball for Venezuela, said earlier this offseason that he planned to play for Venezuela during the World Baseball Classic, which begins next month.
