By phone, Reyes is helping Rosario

Jose Reyes is mentoring Triple-A SS Amed Rosario, who is the organization's top prospect and soon-to-be every day shortstop.

According to the NY Post, Reyes and Rosario talk by multiple times each week by phone, not just about baseball, but life, being a top prospect and handling expectations...

"He's a young kid with a lot of talent," Reyes told the Post. "I was once in a similar situation, and when he comes up I am going to be open to helping him out.

"We talk about music, we talk about life," Reyes continued.
