Bartolo Colon is hard at work in the gym with MLB free agency on the horizon, in a video published by MLB insider Hector Gomez.
Colon, 46, has not officially retired, though he hasn’t thrown a big league pitch since 2018 with the Texas Rangers.
It’s not as if he’s been spending all his time working out, though. In recent months, the portly Dominican hurler has found the time to write his memoir, “Big Sexy: The Life and Times of Bartolo Colon,” which will hit bookshelves in April 2020.
The former Mets and Yankees starter has also been keeping sharp, motivating local teens by showing them the heat.
