Another 0-fer for Wright in rehab stint

David Wright is 0-for-14 in four rehab games after going 0-for-4 Saturday night for St. Lucie.

Jay Bruce (hip), also with St. Lucie for a rehab stint, also went 0-for-4 and played nine innings at first base. Wright played seven innings at third.

Wright last appeared in a major-league game in May 2016 as he looks to return from various back, neck and shoulder injuries, including spinal stenosis.

The 35-year-old Wright appeared in 37 games in 2016 and 38 games in 2015 (he also played the entire postseason), when he was first diagnosed with spinal stenosis.
