Amed Rosario is heating up, getting accustomed to majors

Mets rookie SS Amed Rosario is heating up as he spends his second month in the majors.

Rosario, 21, is hitting .256/.287/.427 with four HR, two doubles, three triples, and 8 RBI in 117 at-bats since making his big league debut last month.

In September, Rosario -- who missed roughly a week recently due to a finger injury -- is hitting .353/.421/.412.

One area where Rosario needs to improve is his two-strike approach, especially when it comes to chasing pitches that are off the plate away.

"He needs to choke up, be able to put that ball in play the other way, and use his speed," SNY's Nelson Figueroa explained.
