A lot has changed since the Mets’ last trip to Miami

The last time the Mets headed to Miami, they were in the midst of a what would become a nine-game winning streak. They had completed a three-game road sweep of the Nationals, and were set to board a plane for Florida, believing one of the greatest seasons in team history was ahead.

“In my six years in the big leagues, this is the best team I’ve ever been on,” Yoenis Cespedes said then. “We’ve been showing it, and we’ll keep proving it.”

The Mets left Miami with a three-game sweep, en route to a franchise-best 11-1 start.
