MLB hands out trophies like they own stock in the industry. In abundance these days with things like All-MLB first team and even an All-MLB second team just to attempt to get fans riled up over snubs, the New York Mets have, even in down years, come away with award winners.
We've already had Juan Soto and Pete Alonso win Silver Sluggers for their 2025 performances. In 2024, Francisco Lindor earned a Silver Slugger and an All-MLB second team placement. Ironic, of course, because Lindor was the MVP runner-up. Someone needs to recount the votes.
What about recent years where no Mets player won anything at all?
