November is the first full month of the MLB offseason yet hardly the most exciting. The first two weeks are the trailer for what lies ahead. It’s not until those final two weeks when things begin to move a little more quickly. Rarely have the New York Mets made significant roster moves in the early part of the month. Usually by the time we realize Thanksgiving is a week away, the big trades or free agent signings will happen.
Like they have in the last two years, we should expect the bigger moves to happen in December. That doesn’t mean November will be a complete bore.
