2025 Mets Draft profile: Peyton Prescott

Peyton Prescott grew up playing baseball in and around his native Sebastian, Florida, a beach town roughly an hour-and-a-half from Orlando. He spent his first two years of high school attending Sebastian River High School and then transferred to the prestigious TNXL Academy for his last two. While he showed promise, with a fastball that reached 93 MPH and a solid blend of secondary pitches, it was not enough to get him drafted in the 2023 MLB Draft. As a result, after graduating, honored his commitment to the University of Jacksonville.

The right-hander appeared in 16 games for the Dolphins, starting 6, and posted a 6.
