Cole Kleszcz graduated from Valencia High School in Santa Clarita, California, where he played on the varsity baseball team for two years. As a senior, he was named team captain and hit .380 with five home runs, winning First-Team All-League honors. He attended the College of the Canyons, a junior college in his native Valencia. He redshirted his first season, but got back on the field in 2017 and made an impact in a big way.
