2017 Mets Minor League Review: Brooklyn Cyclones

Season Record: 24-52 (New York-Penn League McNamara Division, 4thPlace)

For the third consecutive year, the Brooklyn Cyclones ended the season with a sub-.500 record. Unlike the 2015 and 2016 seasons, Brooklyn seemed to be out of it from the start, losing seven games in a row to end June, and things didn’t get better for them as the summer progressed. They regularly went on long skids, amassing a five-game losing streak in mid-July and a six-game losing streak at the end of July.

For as poorly as they played in June and July, nothing would compare to the tailspin they went on in August.
