There was a brief time when good friends Kristaps Porzingis and Willy Hernangomez pictured a future with the two European big men leading a resurgence for the Knicks. But Hernangomez was traded away and if he had his way, the two would reunite — just not in New York.
Hernangomez, who has had his ups and downs with the Hornets, was discussing his friendship with Porzingis before Sunday night’s game and their time spent together over the summer in Madrid when he said, “I miss K.P. Now my job is to maybe get him here for the Hornets.
