Where New York Knicks rank in projected team payroll for 2019-20

Money was the conversation for the New York Knicks in the 2018-19 NBA season, at least with how much they had to spend in free agency. This opened via waiving and stretching Joakim Noah‘s contract and the Kristaps Porzingis trade that attached Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee‘s salaries.

Approximately $70 million became available for free agency, and the Knicks used all of it on June 30 and into July. They signed seven players and made two draft choices, which watched that money dry up quickly.

The offseason, aside from a surprise trade request or low-risk signing, is basically over for NBA teams.
