Could Kemba Walker play his way back into the Knicks' regular starting lineup?
The answer is complicated, judging from a comment Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau made after the team’s 105-91 win over Detroit on Tuesday.
Walker put together a second big game Tuesday, scoring 21 points in 40 minutes, grabbing eight rebounds and handing out five assists, three of them alley-oops to Mitchell Robinson. That game, coupled with the 29-point performance he had in Boston on Saturday, are doubly impressive considering that he had not played a minute in the previous 10 games.
