Westchester Knicks drop season opener to Capital City Go-Go

Westchester Knicks basketball is back.

After eight months since their last game, Westchester is back in action for their seventh season in the G League. The Knicks opened the 2021-22 season in their first game of a back-to-back against the Capital City Go-Go.

The Westchester Knicks opened the game on a high note with a 19-0 run. Aamir Simms was on a roll with eight points and drained two triples in that span, while Tyler Hall contributed five points in that run. While Capital City started seeing baskets fall, Westchester held a 57-40 lead at halftime due to their strong first quarter.
