Bitter ex-employee much?
Clarence Gaines Jr., Phil Jackson’s former right-hand man as Knicks special adviser, went on a Twitter attack again Sunday morning, this time going after team president Steve Mills’ and GM Scott Perry’s decision to sign Mario Hezonja as a free agent following the Knicks’ final-second loss to the Celtics.
Knox suffered a left-ankle sprain late in the first quarter. Hezonja played just nine minutes despite the injury.
“If you’re a @nyknicks fan & wondering why @mariohezonja couldn’t EARN court time vs @celtics with @KevKnox going down it’s because he’s a huge liability as an individual defender,” Gaines wrote.
