The New York Knicks are a halfcourt team that relies quite heavily on the contributions of veteran players. Every now and then, however, a player seems to rise up and remind Knicks fans that there are explosive legs hiding in the rotation.
After Kristaps Porzingis stole the show on Wednesday, March 23, it was Derrick Williams‘ turn to do so on Thursday, March 24.
Williams, 24, has been one of the bright spots for the Knicks off of the bench in 2015-16. Thus, it came as no surprise when he provided Madison Square Garden with two highlight reel plays—both of which were facilitated by the brilliant court vision and passing ability of veteran Jose Calderon.
