Tim Hardaway Jr.: No reason Knicks can’t make playoff push

LOS ANGELES — Jeff Hornacek can talk all he wants about the Knicks organization’s vision that making playoffs is not a priority during this season of development. Tim Hardaway Jr., after being in the dance two straight seasons with Atlanta, wants to be in the playoffs.

Coming off his 31-point explosion in Friday’s victory at Utah in his fourth game back since missing six weeks with a stress reaction, Hardaway said he will head into to the offseason “upset’’ if the Knicks fall into the lottery.

“I’m pretty sure everybody in the NBA wants to make the playoffs,’’ Hardaway said.
