The LeBron James to Knicks dream isn’t totally dead

LeBron James comes to town every year and always refers to Madison Square Garden as “the mecca of basketball,” even if he never has truly considered signing with the Knicks despite multiple cracks at free agency.

The King said so again after Wednesday’s 100-92 win by the Lakers, calling the Garden “probably my favorite arena in the world to play as a visitor” and “absolutely special.”

He also played along and didn’t completely dismiss the possibility when asked if he would consider playing for the Knicks if his 15-year-old son Bronny were to get drafted one day by New York.
