We already knew that the New York Knicks were adding some big names to Tom Thibodeau’s coaching staff, but on Friday the organization made it official.
The group includes University of Kentucky assistant Kenny Payne, Jazz assistant Johnnie Bryant, former Knicks head coach Mike Woodson, and longtime Thibodeau associates Andy Greer and Daisuke (Dice) Yoshimoto. Bryant will be the associate head coach.
“With these hires, we have added a wealth of basketball experience and knowledge that will be of great service to our players and our organization,” Thibodeau said in a statement.
