Nobody expected the New York Knicks to add an immediate-impact player in the 2025 NBA Draft. The team did not have a first round pick and was coming off of its first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 25 years. Their only selection was in the 51st overall slot, where they took 20-year-old French forward Mohamed Diawara. In just a couple of months, Diawara has gone from rookie reserve to spot starter, potentially making him one of the biggest steals of the draft. He just had 18 points on perfect 4-of-4 shooting on 3-point attempts against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
