It was widely known across the NBA that Stephen Curry was poised to break Ray Allen's 3-point record at Madison Square Garden when his Golden State Warriors faced the New York Knicks.
Curry entered Tuesday's game two 3s shy of becoming the NBA's all-time 3-point leader in one of the most historic venues in the association: Madison Square Garden.
"It's the mecca," Warriors' coach Steve Kerr told ESPN. "It's the best atmosphere in the league. It's going to be electric. I can't wait -- it will be fun. ... Every player loves New York.
