With a report surfacing Saturday that the NBA is considering a number of changes to stoke interest among fans, including cutting the regular season schedule from 82 to 78 games, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was asked if he believed that would be beneficial.

Popovich, who was the first coach to implement healthy rest days among his players and was fined for it at the time, was in favor of that change.
