Sources: Shake Milton planning to sign with New York Knicks

Shake Milton is planning to sign with the New York Knicks upon clearing waivers, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Saturday.

Milton agreed to a contract buyout with Detroit and will be eligible for the Knicks' playoff roster.

The Knicks have dealt with a slew of injuries this year and are currently missing starters OG Anunoby, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson.

Milton, 27, provides backcourt depth New York has been missing between the injuries and a trade last month that sent backup point guard Immanuel Quickley to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Anunoby.
