With a recent report from Bill Simmons of The Ringer that James Dolan has been trying to sell the Knicks, the internet was on fire on Monday morning.
With all of the chatter about Dolan and the Knicks, The Madison Square Garden Company contacted us and issued the following statement:
“The story is 100% false. There has been nothing. No discussions. No plans to have discussions – nothing.”
So, is this true?
Simmons is pretty connected when it comes to the NBA, but MSG is denying that Dolan is planning on selling the Knicks and even claiming that he hasn’t even had any discussions with people about it.
