Rumor: Knicks named as landing spot for elite 3-point shooter J.J. Redick

The New York Knicks could use a premium three-point shooter to help improve their offense. Currently, they don’t have a consistent threat from beyond the arc, which is why elite three-point shooter J.J. Redick could fit the bill.

Redick is reportedly unhappy with his current situation in New Orleans, and at 36 years old, prefers to be back in the northeast near his Brooklyn home. Considering the fact he isn’t playing well and is frustrated, the Pelicans could look to trade him within the next few weeks. Over 16 games, he’s averaging just 7.9 points over 19.
