LOS ANGELES — u200bDerrick Rose’s accuser broke into tears after she took the witness stand for the last time Tuesday ahead of jury deliberations in her $21.5 million civil rape case, testifying that she’d always resisted the NBA star’s requests for orgies.
“Did you ever have group sex with Mr. Rose prior to Aug. 26, 2013,” the woman’s attorney asked.
“No, never,” she answered.
Her voice cracked and she quietly cried when her attorney, Waukeen McCoy, asked whether a graphic text exchange with Rose in June 2013 — two months before the alleged attack — led to consensual sex with the New York Knicks guard.
