Ron Baker didn’t plan on becoming an NBA player

New York Knicks’ point guard Ron Baker was a guest on Highly Questionable with Dan Le Batard on Wednesday and revealed something very interesting.

Baker admitted that he didn’t think about playing basketball in the NBA until he went to the Final Four with Wchita State University a few years ago.

After his college career, Baker declared for the NBA draft, but ended up going undrafted in 2016. He then signed with the Knicks as an undrafted rookie free agent and made his debut on opening night.

Baker also spent some time with the Knicks’ G League affiliate last season as well.
