If there was some question how the Madison Square Garden crowd would greet the Knicks after the strange circumstances last week when Julius Randle sent a harsh message to the crowd, the answer came in loud and steady cheers and chants.
The difference though was that the MVP chants and shouts of his name that accompanied Randle’s every move earlier in the season and last year was that the shouts and cheers were for RJ Barrett on this night.
