The Knicks fired head coach David Fizdale on Friday, according to an ESPN report.
Fizdale became the fifth coach to be let go since the Knicks last played a playoff game, absorbing the blame for the 4-18 record this season and the long history of failures of the NBA’s flagship franchise.
Fizdale ran Friday's practice with president Steve Mills, general manager Scott Perry and others in attendance.
