The New York Knicks didn’t luck out in the draft lottery, but the front office might be maneuvering behind the scenes to jump up to the No. 2 pick, currently owned by the Golden State Warriors.
“The Warriors actively have been discussing trades, including scenarios that would net them a starting-caliber frontcourt player along with a pick in the top 10. The Bulls, Pistons and Knicks are among the candidates to trade up to No. 2.”
The Knicks happen to have such a frontcourt player in Mitchell Robinson.
