Anthony Davis’ future in flux, and now he may no longer have a seat at the table.
The New Orleans Pelicans superstar, with super-agent Rich Paul in tow, met with David Griffin on Wednesday in Los Angeles, the newly minted GM trying desperately to save a relationship destroyed by public trade demands.
Davis is not expected to be a part of any future conversations with Griffin, according to ESPN, with Paul instead playing intermediary. It may be fool’s errand with The Athletic reporting it is “highly unlikely” Davis will change his mind about wanting out of New Orleans.
