As this is being written, the NY Knicks are 25-27 and sit in the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference rankings, which would be good enough to make it into the play-in tournament.
Seeing how ESPN projected them to win just 22 games and ranked them 29th overall, the way the season has turned out so far is a pleasant surprise for most Knicks fans.
I’m one of the few who expects so much more than what we’ve been getting out of this team, but maybe that’s just due to me being starved of a consistent winning culture for my favorite basketball team for so long.
