Training camp will start for the New York Knicks on Tuesday, Sept. 30. Their 15-man roster is set, along with one player on a two-way contract. However, they can have up to 20 players at camp, which usually transpires for seven days, before the preseason starts in early October.
With those extra spots, the Knicks filled them up with players on Exhibit 10 contracts, which guarantees $50,000 if the player is waived before the regular season starts and spends at least 60 days with the parent organization’s G League team. In this case, it is the Westchester Knicks.
