The Frank Ntilikina trade rumors have returned. Per Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Pistons could have an interest in the New York Knicks guard, who was at the center of speculation in the 2019 offseason and as far back as the fall of 2018.
From on-court woes to injuries, the 21 year old never settled into a role with the Knicks. Now, with a full roster of guaranteed contracts, his spot remains undefined, even after two preseason games. Another team could provide clarity and welcome him into the fold.
If the Pistons work a trade for Ntilikina, the Knicks have a few options to work with, and some of them are more plausible than others.
