During this offseason, the New York Knicks’ guards have impressed me. The young coalition of floor generals are putting themselves in the best place to succeed. They’re working out together, building chemistry, and learning how to gel on the court.
A lot of this is coming from Damyean Dotson. The former G-League guard has inserted himself into the lineup. His hard work culminated last season with a 30-point game, the last highlight of the Knicks’ abysmal season.
Dotson didn’t have the normal route through college to the NBA. He played at both Oregon and Houston. He was drafted during the second round, and bounced up and down from the G-League every other week.
