In fact, Marc Berman of the NY Post reported through unnamed sources that the only thing standing in the way of an official announcement appointing Rose as the new President of Basketball Operations for the New York Knicks was Dwyane Wade‘s jersey retirement ceremony that occurred this past weekend.
