Former New York Knicks superstar Kristaps Porzingis is still making headlines for the Knicks. A new report, but old news, has come out about Porzingis wanting out of New York.
Knicks President Steve Mills spoke on behalf of trading Porzingis. Mills was speaking at Fan Forum event hosted by JPMorgan Chase.
Brad Botkin of CBS Sports reported that Porzingis told the Knicks that he ‘didn’t want to be here’. He also threatened the Knicks to go back to Europe if not traded within 7 days.
New York Post’s Marc Berman confirmed that this was old news, however, it was not made relevant to the public until now.
