When Scott Perry became general manager of the New York Knicks the franchise made it clear that Perry would have at least some freedom to tinker within the basketball operations department. Perry’s vision seems to be taking shape with former Knicks scout Gerald Madkins.
According to Marc Spears of ESPN, Madkins is leaving the Clippers to become the Knicks’ assistant general manager.
Former NBA player Gerald Madkins is departing from the Clippers to be the Knicks' new assistant GM, sources told @TheUndefeated.

Madkins was a Knicks scout in 2003 under Isiah Thomas.
