The New York Knicks should hold onto their top young player.

New York Knicks slasher RJ Barrett excelled in his sophomore campaign after an up-and-down rookie season, firmly cementing himself as the team’s hope for the future. At 20 years old he averaged 17.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game on 44-40-75 shooting splits.

Some rumors have surfaced regarding the future of various superstar players such as Damian Lillard, who may demand a trade this offseason.

Team President Leon Rose may initiate talks with opposing front offices when trying to give up assets and acquire a top player, but Barrett should be off the table in any trade discussions.
