New York Knicks: Projected 2020 NBA Draft Lottery order as year ends

The New York Knicks are in position, again, for a high pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, which takes place next June. An 8-24 record highlights this, despite some improved play since the early December coaching change.

2019 is almost over though, so it’s time to look at where everyone stands in the “race” for the top of the lottery order, or the first three spots since they each own a 14 percent chance at the No. 1 overall pick:

  1. Atlanta Hawks (6-26): The Hawks have sunk without John Collins, and Trae Young‘s All-Star contributions can’t carry this team that far.
